Sage - Salvia officinalis


Sage is a wonderful addition to poultry dishes and also compliments pasta and vegetable dishes. It can be used either fresh or dried. Sage is a useful companion plant for many garden plants including tomatoes, cabbages, strawberries, carrots and beans. Sage can be grown easily in a pot or in the ground and does not overwinter in our zone 3 area. Sage enjoys hot temperatures and regular trimming.
