Red Osier Dogwood - Bare-root
Red Osier Dogwood - Cornus sericea
Dogwoods are wonderful in the landscape as they provide year-round interest for the gardener. They flower in the spring which transforms into having small berries in the summer. Vibrant fall colours provide a show which then falls and highlights their beautiful red twigs against the snow in winter. Being a zone 2 plant, this is a hardy and versatile plant in the landscape. Often used in single or multi-species hedgerows to prevent erosion however they can be used as specimens within the landscape as well. These seedlings come as bare-root plants and available for pickup and immediate planting in early May.
